Why does Earthjustice have a store?
Earthjustice donors are proud to be supporters of our organization and we have received requests in the past for a store of branded merchandise so they can wear that support with pride. We launched the store with that in mind and invite donors and supporters who are interested to select items that reflect their support.
What is the Earthjustice store’s approach to sustainability?
Sustainability is a core part of our product selection. Because we offer a variety of products that have different source materials from cotton to paper to metal, we look at each product individually and determine the best possible offering that meet a variety of factors including: material sourcing, resource use, country of origin, post-consumer waste, worker and consumer safety along with pricing and branding. For example, we decided to offer a Marine Layer t-shirt that has tremendous sustainability credentials (see here Marine Layer’s efforts in sustainability) but we acknowledge that $26 may be out of range for some. So, we also offer a 100% organic cotton t-shirt made with organic dyes for $10.
We acknowledge that opening an Earthjustice store can have an environmental impact while serving our donors and our brand. At its core, our EJ Store sustainability approach is to seek the best possible products made in a responsible way at a variety of price points that can be enjoyed by all our supporters. Also, we believe in transparency which is why the environmental credentials of all products are listed in the description so you can find products that meet your values.
What payment methods are accepted?
Payments can be made using Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. There is no surcharge for using your credit card to make purchases. We cannot accept PayPal, checks, or other payment methods. All orders must be placed online and are charged in US Dollars.
Can I add a donation to Earthjustice with my purchase?
Unfortunately, Earthjustice’s store is not currently a vehicle for accepting charitable contributions. To make a donation, please visit our donation page here.
How will I know if my order went through?
Once an order is placed you will view a confirmation screen that displays your order number. Additionally, a confirmation email is automatically sent to the email you provided with your order details. If you do not receive this email, please check your junk mail filter.
How long does it take for store orders to be fulfilled? What’s the store’s return policy?
If all items are in stock, orders ship within 1 - 2 business days (M-F). Domestic orders will typically arrive within 3 - 5 business days. You will receive a separate email confirming shipment that includes tracking.
Do you ship to countries outside of the US?
Yes, we are able to ship merchandise to international locations.
How long does it take for store orders to be fulfilled?
If all items are in stock, your order will ship within 1 - 2 business days. Domestic orders will typically arrive within 3 - 5 business days.
Will all the products I ordered ship together?
For multiple product orders, we will make every attempt to bundle all products into a single order, however some products may ship separate from other merchandise. If an item is on back order at the time your order is placed, we will contact you to determine how to proceed.
How do I return or exchange an item?

What happens to my contact information when I purchase a product from store?
Earthjustice and our store partner Kotis Design have access to basic order detail/reporting and all personal identifiable information is anonymized. However, users of the public store can opt-in to Earthjustice’s marketing efforts. When a user opts-in, their contact information is shared with Earthjustice.
Kotis Design will never share any personal customer data with third parties. Only information necessary for order processing is collected, and all passwords are encrypted. Kotis maintains their data on servers with defensive security precautions and limit access to the raw data. Kotis's security measures are constantly reviewed to ensure that they are both current and effective in preventing unauthorized access.
Who is responsible for paying duties and taxes on international shipments?
We have no control over duties or taxes that may be assessed. We fill out all customs paperwork with information that is accurate and correct to the best of our knowledge. Any duties, taxes, and fees that may be assessed are the responsibility of the recipient.
What can I do if my international order is delayed?
If your order is held up in customs we are happy to provide additional documentation if needed. However we cannot accept responsibility for packages that are delivered late due to customs delays as these are out of our control.

I sell my own merchandise and would like to donate part of the proceeds to Earthjustice.
Thank you for your interest in fundraising for Earthjustice! We are only able to list our own Earthjustice branded items in our store. As a nonprofit law firm, we also take a careful stance in partnering with for-profit companies due to real or perceived conflicts of interest. Currently our guidelines only allow us to partner with companies that have achieved B-Corp status. Similarly, we do not allow the use of our name and logo in association with the sale of products. If you would nonetheless like to donate to Earthjustice, you are welcome to do so, and your financial support is appreciated!
